Expancell
Expancell® is a high-performance, lightweight, pre-compressed polyurethane foam backer rod used as a filler material in joint sealant applications. It acts as a bond breaker, controls sealant depth, and ensures proper joint geometry for optimal performance of sealants. Expancell® is commonly used in expansion and contraction joints, floor joints, façade joints, and other construction joints. It improves sealant performance by preventing three-sided adhesion, providing uniform sealant thickness, and accommodating joint movement, ensuring long-lasting and reliable sealing in both interior and exterior applications.
